Pretty good

Love the visuals. But, it keeps putting a 8pm time for my exercise and there is no way to edit it. Bummer.

This app really helps to keep you on track by giving you a visual record of where you are past, present,and future. It keeps me focused and is really easy to use. Entering food is easy and also helps to eat slower if you enter while eating. Just a great tool!!! If you really want to change your lifestyle this app will work!!! 302 when I started 284 two weeks later and going down!!! Good luck and I really hope you give this app a shot!!! If it works for me it will work for anyone!!!!

Once you get your basics entered it is very helpful. I hope it continues to motivate and help me.

This all slows me down but it gives me time to think about who I need to change me habits. I like the fact it interacts with sugar sense.

Its a little tedious in the initial set up, but all that it does more than makes up for that. It keeps me incentivized to stay strong both with my healthy eating and exercise! Well done!

Very User-friendly App

This is the first app of its kind that Ive used. Ive had it less than a week and tracking my eating and exercise habits has already helped me break the "snack grazing" habit and shed 5 lbs. But you have to watch the "your foods" selections as it includes others entries, which are not always accurate.

The best!

My wife and I have used several calorie-counting apps. This is simply the simplest, easiest-to-use app. I have lost 16 pounds since Christmas. Just count them up. Leave 500 calories on the table each day and lose a solid pound a week. Love it!

Great, not perfect

Ive been using this for a couple of months and its been instrumental in me losing over 15 pounds. The only thing I have a problem with is that the UPC scan doesnt work—or, rather, it scans a code fine, but invariably reports that no match was found in the database. No problem; it offers you the option to add the food you scanned, which I have dutifully done for many different foods. Unfortunately, when I scan the same food later, it STILL says theres no match in the database. I just verified that this still happens in the most recent version as of the writing of this review. If the UPC function worked, I wouldnt hesitate to give five stars. Its a great app and great at what it does. ADDITION: still using it many months later, its still great. But theres a lingering bug which is irritating: it determines calories burned by step count, but sometimes it uses steps counted only by the phone and sometimes it (correctly) uses ALL steps recorded by connected devices, such as my Apple Watch. I have literally seen the number change while looking at it; it happens all the time. So steps my watch registers and syncs back to the iPhones Health app while the phone is charging, for example, are sometimes counted in My Diet Diary and sometimes not, despite Health sharing the data with My Diet Diary. (I JUST NOW switched back to MDD and watched the step count change from the erroneous 3775 to the correct 5201, and then back again. This behavior can leads to a major error in calories burned if I, for example, go on a 5k run with my watch but without my phone.) Still, its a great app all-around, instrumental while I lost a total of 30 pounds of fat, and Im now using it to help put on more muscle. If the longstanding bugs ever get ironed out itll be completely amazing. And if they add an Apple Watch app itll be the second coming. :-)

It was working well till yesterday it wouldnt let me search new foods. Fix this and Ill give it five.
